LC Libraries

It is the mission of Lake Central libraries to empower students to become lifelong learners who are knowledgeable and critical consumers of information.  Lake Central libraries provide and encourage the use of print, non-print, and electronic materials that enrich and support the curriculum while inspiring students to embrace reading for pleasure as a worthwhile pursuit.

We believe:

We believe in books and in reading.

We believe in the power of the written word to change hearts and minds and ultimately to change lives.

We believe that the writings that our children encounter in school and in life become a part of who they are and help them become who they're meant to be.

Join us in our mission.
